Sinigang na Manok second the best

Because I started composing a very healthy and helpful tips and recipes made only from Philippines which makes many different types of dishes, what I’m going to do today is to continue create more about this healthy and beneficial stuff. You may think whatever you want for this stuff but it will surely benefit us. I started it with a chicken recipe so called tinola, so I will just increase my recipe creations that chicken will be involved. Now, do you know about the so called “Sinigang na Manok” by the Filipino country men?  Well this is the second to the best chicken recipe for me, I don’t know what others think but it is really one of the best things we have here in the Philippines. Having a very good quality of food/dishes, so again, you should try it. So, what do we need then?

Ingredients:

Chicken, quartered till it’s cube-sized
½ cup of tomatoes, sliced or quartered
¼ cup onion, sliced
radish, chop
1 tablespoon of salt or patis, to add some flavoring

Filipino Recipe – Diningding for good metabolism

I admire Filipinos for their passion on cooking. We are also fond of experimenting on different kind of dish, don’t we?. In this post I want to share to all of you what to cook to not only satisfy hunger but to also have one of the very important thing in making our body healthy, the metabolism. This recipe is especially for those who burn much metabolism; but don’t limit it there okay? Low calorie burners are also beneficial in this dish, so instead of loosing 10% out of 20% from other nutritious food but less in calorie. Try this for your own improvement.
INGREDIENTS
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 cloves garlic, squashed
1/3 cup anchovies isda
4 cups of water
4 tomatoes, quartered
1 onion, quartered
1 thumb-sized ginger, squeezed
1 cup squash, cut like a dice
1 bundle string bean, cut into 2-inch long per piece
5 pieces winged (sigarilyas in tagalog), cut into 1-inch long per piece

Bulalo - Filipino Beef Soup

Travelling to different parts of the Philippines, you’ll see variations of foods and recipes that you haven’t seen before. Many provinces have their own proud recipe, their unique trademark when it comes to food. One province that I know is Batangas. Famous as the cattle raising region of the Philippines, Batangeños found their own unique way of cooking their specialty – Bulalo. Bulalo or beef bone marrow soup in English, has win hearts of many Filipinos over the years, and has been a Filipino soup favorite. They say that the hotter this soup is the better. So now, let’s discover how this soup is cooked. A unique Philippine food cooked the Filipino way!
 
Estimated preparation time is 10 minutes, cooking time is two hours and 30 minutes. Here are the ingredients:

•    2 kg beef bone marrow, have your butcher chop it into small pieces
•    1 kg boneless beef shank or stewing beef
•    1 onion, peeled and sliced
•    3 liters water
•    2-3 medium potatoes, peeled and quartered
•   2-3 saba (plantain) bananas, each cut into two pieces
•    1 whole medium cabbage, quartered
•    3-4 tablespoons fish sauce (patis)
•    Salt and pepper to taste
